Someday when I have the time and energy to improve my handwriting, and the required pocket money, I would love one of these. The writing experience just looks sublime, even from this side of the screen. For now, the Visconti Poseidon is my #1, with Robert Oster Deep Sea constantly in the converter. Curious about the new Comedia line from Visconti, but doesn't seem to have the same flair in the shape and trim(and no reviews as of yet to determine if it also has the simply divine Schmidt nib...). Thanks for widening my horizons with these quality reviews!

Glad this came up on my feed again. I feel like one of the downfalls of the Lamy 2000 vs the Parker 51 is that it's only a semi-hooded nib. What I mean to say is that the nib dries up too quickly depending on the ink because the L2K has some of the nib slit too exposed; whereas the Parker 51 doesn't have the same problem. I noticed this even when both pens are capped.

So this helps in my research what Italian pen should I should get. Was stuck on the Leonardo Momento, but now expanding my options. Delta DV in that classic orange black! Oh man. Im struggling with my Travelers Co pen being a slow starter. First up-stroke tends to be dry (no ink) and than it gets going. Any thought on what the issue might be?

Price reduction to €45, so I finally bought the matte in the gift box version. The spring kept jumping out across the room and so I bent it picking it up. Decided to clip the spring back to the length of the clutching mechanism and now it works fine.

Maybe it’s me, but the two Montblanc pens I have are not good writers. The EF nib is very scratchy, while the F writes like a broad.

Pro tip: best way to clean stains off your hands is salt. you cant remove the stain you have to remove the skin

that torch was super fast... but i still prefer the slow, candle melting with a stand. it results much less air bubbles than what you did.

You anodized a pen in a past video. Would love to see you anodize this one. Can you anodize titanium or does the pen have to be another metal like aluminum?

It‘s not the prettiest, but I like the removable clip and that it is a „thicker“ pen. What I fear is that there are a lot of breakable parts everytime you open it up just to refill or clean it. But the price point is also pretty good. Thanks for reviewing!

While I do kinda wish I'd held off for the 650 over the 600 (I had a feeling there would be an improved version down the line, just not so quickly!), I'm satisfied with the fact that us early adopters paved the way for MC to keep working and improving on the "new vintage flex" concept! Maybe the 700 will be out soon, with a cap that posts, maybe a piston filler or some other larger capacity filling system, and even more refinement to the nib and feed system, as well as more aesthetic choices 🤷‍♂

Got this for 10 euros on Amazon, the only things Lamy has over it are the ink window and the swappable nibs, otherwise the Hexo blows Lamy completely out of the water, the nibs in particular are great.
